Saab 9-5NG history?

As we mentioned before Rachel Pang (image below) from Youngman is determined to obtain Saab and to start building cars again. At the moment the Turkish are also still in the race to save Saab. With these two companies interested in Saab the chances are rather high that the trolls can go back to work soon.

It seems that GM still wants to frustrate the rebirth of Saab. As we understood they do not want to coöperate with any new owner of Saab to sell them parts needed to complete a new Saab 9-5. Only for the Saab 9-3 it seems easier to start production again. Maybe they change their mind under certain conditions, e.g. not to sell the 9-5 in China? Read more on SU.

That GM is afraid of Saab so much is in fact a big compliment to the trolls. As I understood Ford is still willing to deliver parts to Geely (also Chinese) to complete Volvo cars. I do not understand why GM thinks so different compared to Ford. GM makes profit on these parts too right? Maybe I`m stupid but I do not understand why good cars need to be crushed too.

The Saab 9-3 back in production is a good start for New Saab, let`s hope that `ll be reality soon.

Finally, today is a very important day for the museum. Let`s hope the Innovatum bid `ll be accepted to buy all the cars of the museum. The Ursaab can stay in Trollhätan then, much easier for Rachel if she wants to show this car to prospects for New Saabs :). Unfortunately there is no news yet about the cars of the Saab museum.
